Dunya Yachts’ DY010 48m Support Vessel is built to give owners more of everything including, storage, toys and more guest accomodation. This yacht is the result of a new design and technical collaboration between the industry experts including Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architecture. Stylish yacht form is seamlessly combined with class leading function in layout, engineering, performance, stability as well as safety and redundancy features.
DY010 Support Vessel was specifically designed with an aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure. This is advantageous in terms of being more lightweight to increase her capacity and therefore be able to carry much more toys, tenders and other vehicles that cannot be accommodated by a mothership while also carrying extra stores, parts, and etc.
The catamaran-based platform was also deliberately opted for rather than a monohull design, which allows the vessel carry 40% more volume than a monohull of the same length. The Support Vessel uniquely benefits from this hull arrangement with a generous maximum beam of 13m which is a one of a kind beam ratio allowing twice the capacity of any competition in the market at the same range. She is eventually capable of carrying tenders and toys up to 58 tons.
